Why do they make me look at them?
I do my schoolwork, make nineties, its obvious I know what they're talking about. Yet teachers, one in particular who thinks that Aspergers is simply medical confabulation, an excuse to be rude. I talked to the other teachers, managed to do an extra essay instead of a presentation. The one, though refused. So I stoo dup there today, beet red, stared at my feet, muttered my presentation, then stood there, motionless, at the teasing of the class. My teacher was asking me questions, and I answered the best I could, staring at the ground. Well, he thought I was being 'disrespectful' (define 'respect') and yelled at me, until I was almost crying. I don't see why he was so mad at me.
I don't understand.

Hello, fellow Aspies!
Ok, I have searched much of the internet, but I have been unable to find anything specifically for youth with Aspergers. There is a lot out there for parents who have children with AS, or people who teach children with AS, but nothing for teenagers who have it. Teenager years are hard enough to deal with without having to battle a disorder. So this is a board for anybody who wished to connect with other people who have Aspergers. It is open to both male and females.
However, certain people may not join this board. If you are a parent or a teacher of a child who has Aspergers, then this community is not for you. This community is strongly restricted to youth who are between the ages of 13 years old, and 18 years old. Please respect that.
Also, remember to respect all the other members. Other then that, post anything you want to: Life rants, special interests, questions, comments, poems, stories, artwork, essays, etcetera.
Have fun! (Hey, we don't have to look people in the eye on the Internet.) Current Mood: content
